About
Laura is a British artist who studied at Camberwell College of Art and Loughborough University where she gained a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. During her time there she was awarded the David Murray scholarship by the Royal Academy of Arts.
Her work is primarily focused on the local landscapes of Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire. She is drawn to the quiet beauty of the land, the light and the ever changing aspects of time and seasons.
Laura finds the physicality, texture and often timeless qualities of her surroundings a constant source of challenge and inspiration. She is also conscious of its fragility and seeks to celebrate and respect the heritage of which we are caretakers.
